Prerequisites

Before installing Bitaic, ensure your environment meets the necessary requirements.

General Requirements

• Internet Connectivity: Required for monitoring checks, agent communication, and updates.
• Permissions:
• Endpoint, domain, DNS, and SSL monitoring: permission to configure the monitored targets.
• Server and Windows monitoring: administrative permissions on the machine to allow metric and event collection.

Recommended System Specifications

For efficient agent performance, we recommend at least:

• CPU: 1 GHz or higher
• Memory: 512 MB RAM (for minimal impact, allocate additional memory if monitoring high-resource environments)
• Disk Space: 500 MB available
